EPDM rubber sheets are made from ethylene-propylene-diene monomer rubber, a synthetic elastomer.
EPDM rubber sheets are known for their high durability and flexibility, making them an ideal solution for various applications. They are resistant to weather conditions, UV radiation, ozone, and many chemicals, which makes them popular across many industries. Compared to other standard rubber sheets, EPDM has better chemical resistance to diluted acids and alkalis, glycols, and polar solvents.

Due to the ability to use EPDM sheets and gaskets both indoors and outdoors, they are widely applied in industrial and home use. A few examples include:
- Construction: used as waterproofing membranes for roofs, underlays for joists, or as road plates for surface reinforcement. EPDM gaskets are used for sealing doors and windows. Foamed EPDM sheets are used for thermal and acoustic insulation.
- Automotive industry: EPDM sheets are used in automotive applications, especially for sealing components such as doors, body panels, windows, and more.
- Electrical industry: EPDM rubber gaskets are used for insulating connectors and electrical enclosures. They provide protection against moisture, vibration, dust, and other external factors while maintaining safe working conditions.
- HVAC industry: in air conditioning, ventilation, and heating systems, EPDM seals are used to seal pipe joints, air ducts, and HVAC components. EPDM material is resistant to high/low temperatures and certain chemicals, making it effective for such uses.
